I keep platforms running where downtime isn’t an option — from CI/CD pipeline to production, in highly regulated markets.

About

About me

I’m a DevOps & Cloud Engineer in Vienna. I got here the long way around: full-stack developer, founder of a self-storage startup straight out of school, then dev-team lead at an IT consultancy — and somewhere along the way I noticed that what I enjoyed most was making things run.

My specialty is portal applications: customer-facing platforms with authentication, user management and a pile of third-party integrations behind them. Today I build and run them for the Novomatic Group — where peak loads are business as usual and downtime isn’t an option.

Because I’ve built services myself (Java, Quarkus, TypeScript), I set up infrastructure that developers actually like using. And a good part of my job is talking — between teams, and between plans and production.

Off the clock you’ll find me in the workshop: bandsaw, cordless drill, 3D printer. Lungau → Salzburg → Vienna.
